The Tragic Optimist

journey

late start. snow. icy roads. passing cars and semis in the ditch. sick Zoe.  sick Zoe again.  and again.  multiple clean ups in gas station bathrooms.

safe arrival. welcoming family. clean bathrooms. washer and dryer. warm kitchen. home cooked food. Zoe sleeps. I should too.

safe travels and happy arrivals to anyone else traveling.

Sounds beyond stressful! I’m so glad you made it to Chicago safely and hope Zoe feels better today. Merry Christmas to you and your family, and I look forward to see you when you get home.

You know, this post sounds like a poem to me. 😉
