The Tragic Optimist

Wait, what day is it?

I went for my first trip without Zoe today. I went to get some candy for Halloween trick-or-treaters. Being that today is the 31st, I figured there’d only be the nasty candies left. But I found the variety packs of mini candy bars with no problem. Then I took a closer look, they weren’t Halloween variety packs, they were Christmas variety packs. All the little costumed kids that knock on our door tonight will get Santa and Christmas-themed candy. I know that it’s normal for parents of newborns to forget what day it is, but this is a little crazy.

Also, happy halloween!
